About Me

My name is Kaitlyn Laine Anderson. I am a University of Victoria Gender Studies Major, set to graduate in April of 2022. My pronouns are she / they. I attended Edmonton’s MacEwan University and completed a diploma is Jazz and Contemporary music in 2016, and moved to Victoria in 2019. prior to moving, I was teaching music, and working as a musician in numerous projects in Edmonton, and around Canada. I am involved in the activist community, standing in solidarity with BLM, affordable housing, and safe supply movements, and Indigenous sovereignty and land rights movements in Victoria, Vancouver, and Edmonton. I am passionate about being part of movements towards the inclusion of all types of bodies in society, respecting Indigenous Sovereignty, harm reduction and safe supply, sex positivity, accessibility, and racial equity.
